yes i agree with all of you this weather is bad for us I am one of those that is not sure which bit hurts most but we have to smile

Can I take this time to wish every one a Happy new Year with as little pain as possible and the strengh to deal with that we get.

Thank You!

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and if at all possible a painfree 2010!

Many of you have had a very tough time indeed, and I just hope that things will turn for the better and the new year will bring hope of better times.

I have not been much on the new Forum lately, so have not followed much of what has been going on. I have noticed, that Lizm has not been posting lately. Knowing she has had a hard year, not only with her lifelong RA, but also loosing her mother a short time ago, I wonder, how she is? She is a person of great courage, who despite all her own health problems, always has good advice for others and show great empathy with everybody.

Oh Merete, how right you are about our dear Liz. I think Eleanor has been in touch so I'm sure she will let us know how things are.

Happy New Year to you, Audrey and all forum members. I am fine now - much much better than some on the forum

Hi all,

Liz has had an operation (23rd December) to clean the abcess. District nurses are coming to the house daily to pack her wound. She is to have a blood transfusion next week which she hopes will restore some energy. It was a brief e mail as you can all imagine but I will let you know if I hear more.
